How quickly do you respond to project inquiries?
We respond to project briefs and email inquiries within 24 hours on business days (Mon–Fri, 9 AM–6 PM CT). Phone calls during business hours are answered live or returned within the same business day.
Do you take small projects or one-off work?
Our minimum engagement is typically $15,000 for project work and $3,500/month for retainer engagements. Smaller one-off work — single-page edits, plugin installs, minor tweaks — is not a good fit for our operational model. Many smaller agencies handle that work well, and we're happy to recommend a fit when ours isn't right.
What information should I include in a project brief?
The more context the more productive the discovery call: your business objective, current state, what's not working, what success looks like, timeline expectations, and existing website URL if applicable. We provide a structured brief form on this page, but free-form emails work equally well.
What happens after I submit a brief?
Within 24 hours (business days): strategic intake response with a quick fit assessment and proposed next step. Within 2–3 business days: discovery call scheduled. Within 5 business days of the discovery call: written proposal with engagement model, scope, timeline, and team.
Do you charge for discovery calls or proposals?
No. Discovery calls (30–60 minutes) and written proposals are provided at no cost. We only invoice once a contract is signed and engagement begins.
Can we meet in person, or is it always remote?
Remote-first by default — most of our engagements run entirely remotely with clients across the US and Canada. For clients in the St. Louis metro, we're happy to meet in person at our Cottleville office or your location for engagements that warrant it. The work itself is identical either way.
